Little Scientist Ready To Learn
Three year olds are among the most excited explorers. Interested in seeing and touching, smelling and tasting the world around them, each is a little scientist eager to put what they’re learning to the testing. Question and answers take center stage as their developing conversational skills open up whole new vistas of understanding.
Developing deeper relations with friends and teachers are important as this age. Growing proficiency in listening to direction aids greater ability and comprehension. Arts and crafts projects are becoming more familiar. Shapes and colors, number and letter reinforcement are part of increasing reading readiness.
Dermer’s teachers enjoy sharing and fostering this time of wonder with their classroom. Class time is structured to make the most of every opportunity, as learning continues to the kind of fun that provides incentives and tools that will last a lifetime.
