Imagination
Einstein’s quote, “Imagination is more important than knowledge” expresses the sentiment that all of us, particularly children, learn best when our imaginations are engaged. Class activities fostering expression and creativity provide just such a medium.
Interaction
Arts and crafts provide the backdrop for individual and class projects that challenge and please our students. A little constructive mess can go a long way in stimulating young artists in learning how fun and interesting different combination of colors and shapes can be.
Individual Expression
Dermer’s uses a variety of exciting activities to nurture individual expression. Kids love painting with hands and brushes, spray bottles and bubbles. Cooking projects include making pizza and astronaut pudding, ice cream and decorating cookies.
